Well, the cover story we issued was that one of us was the inventor and the others merely privy to the experiment.

Perhaps I simply gave a convincing enough performance as an unknowing participant. Or it hadn't occurred to them to fathom portals.

I have chosen to infiltrate the camp that focuses on biochemical engineering. Here, I have met with a rather interesting woman — Alexandra Reman.

Rather more intentionally on my behalf, yes.

Those imprisoned are much more likely to speak to a fellow prisoner. It creates an immediate common ground and bond of trust.

Have you thought of a potential means of escape yet? Those collars are... something of a deterrent.

I have numerous jutsu that would prevent any harm befalling me should I feel escape to be necessary.

Additionally, I have asked Newton to work on a method for disabling the collars. He has access to both a collar and one of the guard's bracelets to this end, and I am still capable of sending clones elsewhere from the camp.

And these jutsu... they'd work in spite of the collars, or only once they've been disabled?

The collars do not affect my abilities.

Mostly in the sense that I wasn't eager to perform any displays after it was what earned them slapped around our necks in the first place. Or could trigger whoever's got a hold on the button.
