That, exactly.

I rather am as well, so we should be good company.

[ There is the sound - no, the feeling of her laughter that carries across, the left over connection even now. ]

My cottage is upstream of the pond, closer to the waterfall. Come by whenever the mood strikes of you, there is certainly no rush.

Oh yes.

Because I intend to drink, if you arrive after the wine runs out, you have been warned.

Since I think you are just about the only woman I have met that can drink as deeply as I can - definitely.

Not at all. Ianthe has left a skeleton minding outside of my house, but that is all.

That is because I suspect Ianthe never had a nursemaid that wrapped her knuckles for missing the corners tidying.

Or two five siblings always in need of neatening before said nurse-maid caught them.

[ She starts laughing with that - then groans in sympathy. ]

If anyone tried that with Ianthe, I think she'd give them such a look, their insides would all fall out on the principle of the matter.

Punishment chores for something you definitely didn't do. My younger sister once got us all in trouble and we had to weave rash mats for hours in punishment for burning the old ones.

Now that is a conversation that needs a whole keg of wine to talk about.

For it would surely include my brother, who ruled at the time? - all of his administrative duties.

... His treason would have been noticed earlier, let us put it that way.

Do forgive me, I think my humour has become a blackened thing.

I think that is why I like you so, Lady Yennefer, you talk like people at home.

I think you would like one of our jokes.
